Daily Feeding Amount: Feed your kitten 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of liquid milk replacer for every 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight per day. For example, a 1 lb (16 oz) kitten should be fed 8 tablespoons (120 ml) of milk replacer per day. If feeding the kitten every 8 hours, give 40 ml (approximately 2 1/2 tablespoons) of liquid at each feeding; if feeding the kitten every 3-4 hours, give 15 - 20 ml (approximately 1 1/4 tablespoons) of liquid at each feeding.
Growing Kittens (post weaning), Show Cats and/or Convalescing Cats: Feed 1 teaspoon (2 g) of the milk replacer powder per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) of body weight per day.
Pregnant and Lactating Queens: Feed 2 teaspoons (4 g) of the milk replacer powder per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) of body weight per day.
Mixing Directions:
Add milk replacer to warm water in a 1:2 ratio (for example, add 1 tablespoon of powder to 2 tablespoons of water). Stir gently until mixed well. Do not use a blender to mix.
Warning: Unopened powder should be stored in a cool, dry place. Reconstituted milk replacer must be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Opened powder must be refrigerated for up to 3 monthsor can be frozen for up to 6 months to preserve freshness. Not for human consumption. Sold by weight not by volume. This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
