Daily Feeding Amount: Feed your puppy 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of liquid milk replacer for every 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight per day. For example, a 1 lb (16 oz) puppy should be fed 8 tablespoons (120 ml) of milk replacer per day. If feeding the puppy every 8 hours, give 40 ml (approximately 2 1/2 teaspoons of liquid at each feeding; if feeding the puppy every 3-4 hours, give 15-20 ml (approximately 1 1/4 teaspoons) of liquid at each feeding.
Growing Puppies (post weaning), show dogs and/or Convalescing Dogs: Feed 1 teaspoon (2 g) of the milk replacer powder per 5lbs (2.2 kg) of body weight per day.
Pregnant and Lactating Bitches:Feed 2 teaspoons (4 g) of the milk replacer powder per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) of body weight per day.
Mixing Directions:Add milk replacer powder to warm water in a 1:2 ratio as described below (for example, add 1 tablespoon of powder to 2 tablespoons of water). Stir gently until mixed well. Do not use a blender to mix.
