As a designer and creator of spirited objects, Christian Louboutin has transformed the everyday lipstick into a woman's magic talisman. A beautiful objet d'art worthy of display, yet so intimate as to be worn like a precious jewel. Inspired by Babylonian architecture, the design captures the ornate aesthetics of Middle Eastern antiquities and the Arts-Deco movement. The solid black metal body, reminiscent of a precious elixir vial, holds the iconic Rouge Louboutin. The cap is mounted with a turret-like crown of silver and gold topped with a small ring threaded with a black silk ribbon, turning the lip colour into a necklace which can be worn at any desired length. Designed with ergonomics in mind, the object is meant to rest comfortably in the hand, inspiring a beautiful gesture allowing for a controlled and graceful application. Rouge Louboutin Lip Colour will be enclosed in a beautiful shiny black lacquer-effect jewelry box with a red reveal.
